In 2011, Classic Urban Harmony was asked to assist with a huge exhibit at the Morris Museum, Morristown, New Jersey. The exhibit was called “Jersey Rocks: A History of Rock & Roll in the Garden State.” We contributed much of the R&B and Doo Wop vocal group artifacts and photos. As part of the overall several months celebration of the exhibit, we also gave three multimedia presentations on New Jersey Doo Wop and helped our friend Paul Ressler produce two multi-group acappella concerts in the Museum’s Bickford Theatre. Visiting the exhibit were former members of the Duprees, Royal Teens, Ad Libs, Plurals and many others. These starred groups like Bobby Thomas’s Orioles, 14 Karat Soul, the Del Larks, Quiet Storm and many others.
