As founding members of the Asbury Park Museum’s Board of Directors. Pam and Charlie Horner played a significant role in the organization’s first ever pop-up exhibit. The exhibit was installed in an 1800 square foot storefront on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. While the APM’s president Kay Harris and other trustees curated the front half of the exhibit with emphases on Asbury Park’s history, we used the back half of the area to display an exhibit on music from Asbury Park’s West Side. Much of the West Side Music exhibit came from our previous exhibit in Freehold, but we modified and updated it considerably. The exhibit was there from December 2018 until March 2019. The exhibit area was also used for lectures, book signings, a jazz concert and even the filming of a documentary.
