Classic Urban Harmony’s Charlie & Pam Horner are pleased to announce our latest event. We’ll be giving a multimedia presentation on Early 1900s Black Music From Asbury Park along with a book signing of our “Springwood Avenue Harmony: The Unique Musical legacy of Asbury Park’s West Side, Vol 1.” The FREE Event is hosted by the Middletown Township Historical Society and will take place in the Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown NJ, at 7 PM, Tuesday May 23, 2023. Attending the event is FREE and no reservation is needed – just show up. For those who can’t attend in person, the presentation will also be broadcast live via Zoom, but for that you must register in advance at MiddletownNJHistory.org Those attending live will not only enjoy the full experience of a Classic Urban Harmony presentation but will also have a chance to participate in a post presentation Q&A and may purchase an autographed copy of our book, “Springwood Avenue Harmony Vol 1.”
