We are hard at work preparing for the R&B/Doo Wop Vocal Group Exhibit at the East Coast Music Hall of Fame Awards Gala, June 6 – 7 at Harrah’s Atlantic City. Seen above are mannequins dressed in stage worn uniforms from Harptones’ Willie Winfield, 5 Satins’ Fred Parris, Skyliners’ Jimmy Beaumont and Jay & the Americans’ Jay Black. Pam Horner and Marian Cicerale did a fabulous job, as assembling and dressing mannequins is a lot harder than it looks. The “wardrobe of stars” is only one part of our exhibit. We have over 75 artifacts including rare photos, sheet music, records and lobby cards of groups honored by the East Coast Music Hall of Fame in 2019 and this year. The exhibit will be open Monday June 6 from 2 – 6 PM and 9 – 5 on Tuesday June 7 at the East Coast Music hall of Fame Gala at Harrahs in Atlantic City.
