After a few months off, Classic Urban Harmony returns to Roxy & Dukes Sunday night, Dec 8, with more great doo wop acappella singing with QUIET STORM! It’s been a busy Fall for us but now we’re ready to resume our regular every second month acappella shows at one of our favorite locations. If you’ve never been to Roxy & Dukes, it’s a fabulous place for acappella. As this is the only venue in the country featuring doo wop acappella on a regular basis, the audience is there to listen. We have a firm rule – no talking while the group is singing. That’s a must for acappella as you want to hear every note. The parking is free and food and drink are available for purchase. Roxy & Dukes is located at 745 Bound Brook Rd, Dunellen NJ, right in the center of New Jersey.
About the group, Quiet Storm has to be one of the best vocal groups in the country. They’ve recently added two new singers, Bobby Mims and Deborah Charleston (one of the stars of the musical “Soul Harmony”). Even as personnel changes, Quiet Storm retains that acappella sound of perfection. On December 8, their be singing two acappella sets.
