At 2 PM, Sunday Feb 24, the Asbury Park Museum will present a discussion and book signing by Tommy Petillo, lead singer of the doo wop group, the Duprees, and President of the East Coast Music Hall Of Fame. Tommy will talk about his long career as an entertainer, painting a picture of the times, people and music that transformed and redefined his life. His book, “We Need More Love Songs – Doo Wop – The Duprees – and Me,” will be available for purchasing and autographing. Tommy will also talk about the exciting new East Coast Music Hall Of Fame, its purpose and vision. The event will be at the Asbury Park Museum, 1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park (enter from the Boardwalk, just steps south of Convention Hall. This event is FREE and light refreshments will be served.
