Classic urban Harmony will be presenting a Music Pioneers Honors Program on the afternoon of the East Coast Music Hall of Fame Gala (June 7, 2:30 – 4 PM). We’ll be celebrating the Ravens, Clovers, Dominoes and 5 Keys with rare film clips and a panel discussion on the importance of these great pioneer R&B vocal groups. On the panel besides myself will be Harold Winley of the Clovers, Vito Picone of the Elegants, and Bobby Wilson talking about his father Jackie Wilson’s days with the Dominoes. Another special surprise panelist may be joining us. The panel discussion will be MC’s by Gene DiNapoli. It all takes place at Harrah’s Atlantic City.
