Get ready to join us Sunday evening, August 13, as we kick off our third year of monthly doo wop acappella shows at Roxy & Dukes with another spectacular concert. Two great groups from the Philly area – Street Corner 5 and the Copians! Doors open at 7 PM, first set at 8. Admission still only $20, a bargain to see two established vocal groups singing without instruments or music tracks in an atmosphere perfect for acappella. Roxy & Dukes has a fabulous sound system, a stage and eclectic décor. You can sit and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat while watching the groups. And you can converse with friends and fellow harmony enthusiasts before the sets and at intermission. Classic Urban Harmony event attendees come to hear the singing and refrain from loud talking while the groups are singing. We intend to keep it that way.
Roxy & Dukes is at 745 Bound Brook Rd (Rt. 28) in Dunellen NJ. 85% of the door admission goes to the groups, so you attendance rewards the groups for the long hours they spend rehearsing and preparing.
