“Asbury Park’s Springwood Avenue Harmony” was a major exhibit of approximately 100 rare photographs, records, posters and other memorabilia related to Asbury Park’s predominantly African American West Side from 1910 to 1970. It ran the month of February 2015 at Monmouth University’s Pollak Gallery. An opening reception featured a concert by the acappella group, the Tee-Tones. Classic Urban Harmony framed and supplied all of the pieces in the exhibit, wrote all of the captions, and planned the exhibit layout. We also gave a multimedia presentation to accompany the exhibit.
