It’s almost time again for the annual Philly Doo Wop Festival. The event is presented by the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 and will take place at 11630 Caroline Rd, Philadelphia, PA (Northeast Philly) on Sunday, September 25 from 2 – 7 PM. The event is rain or shine and will present twelve great doo wop vocal groups live on stage. The groups will be introduced by some of the Philly area’s well known doo wop radio personalities (past & present) including Classic Urban Harmony’s own Charlie Horner. There will be record collector vendors and a five hour indoor dance party. Admission is $25 and includes food, draft beer & soda. There is free parking and a shuttle bus will be available.
