Everyone had a great time at the Senior Strut, the health event in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA, on October 14, 2016. The event took place at Lloyd Hall, 1 Boathouse Row and was presented by the Fairmount Park Conservancy, the Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging and Philadelphia Parks and recreation. In addition to the one mile walk led by Mummers, the booths of health information, free health screenings and flu shots and fitness activities for those of us 60 and over, there was entertainment including an outdoor acappella concert by Quiet Storm. We also got to meet Harold Carmichael, former Eagles great all-Pro receiver. If you lived in Philadelphia during the 1970’s, some of the great catches Harold made are forever etched in your mind. Quiet Storm did a fabulous job and had the audience clapping and singing along.

If you missed this event, here are some photos.
