We are back!  When we (Charlie & Pam Horner) released our groundbreaking book “Springwood Avenue Harmony: The Unique Musical Legacy of Asbury Park’s West Side, Vol 1, 1871 – 1945” in March 2020, we had high expectations.  Little did we know that a few days later the pandemic would shut the world down,  It was just about the worst time to release a new book.  We are now re-launching the book at 7 PM, Nov 17 at the Long Branch Public Library, 328 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ.  Come join us for a FREE multimedia presentation on jazz, blues and spirituals from the early (1871 – 1945) years of Asbury Park’s West Side.  Lots of fascinating stories about Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Claude Hopkins, Sonny Greer along with talented homegrown musicians that made Asbury Park’s Springwood Avenue a hotbed for great music.  We’ll have music and video clips.

You’ll be able to purchase copies of the book at a special reduced price and have it autographed.  For those who can’t make this event, “Springwood Avenue Harmony Vol 1” is available  by clicking Springwood Avenue Harmony on Amazon.
