Fresh off of the TV show America’s Got Talent where they picked up a couple million new fans, Classic Urban Harmony is thrilled to bring our friends the Masqueraders back here to headline a big “Doo Wop to Soul” concert on July 21, 2018.  It will take place at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center, 226 N. High Street, West Chester PA (just outside of Philly).  The concert will also star some of your favorite acappella groups – Quiet Storm, Brooklyn Connection and Re-MemberThen.  The show starts at 7 PM, with a special “Meet & Greet” reception and photo op for Golden Seat ticket holders at 5:30 PM.  TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW at or by calling the box office at 610-456-2787 during business hours.  Tickets are $40 and $55 with $55 gold seats tickets including the reception.

The Masqueraders have always been one of our favorite soul harmony groups.  The group started in Dallas, moved to Detroit and finally settled in Memphis.  Between 1968 and 1980 they had four Top-40 R&B Chart hits, including “I Ain’t Got To Love Nobody Else,” “I’m Just An Average Guy, “Call Me The Travelin’ Man” and “Desire”.  Pam and I ran into the group on a trip to Memphis in 2010 and brought them to New Jersey to help us celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.  We brought them back here a couple years later.  Last summer the Masqueraders made several appearances on America’s Got Talent, narrowly missing the semi-finals but developing a huge fan base across the country.  The group is again in hot demand and we are proud to bring them to the Philadelphia area where they’ve always had a big following.  If you’ve never heard the Masqueraders, watch the video here.

The fine acappella group, Re-MemberThen was recently taped for the PBS Doo Wop Generations TV special and will be seen in Part 2 singing with Earls’ Larry Chance and on their own.  Quiet Storm and Brooklyn Connection are among the finest acappella groups around.  This is a special concert that we expect will sell out quickly as only 300 tickets will be sold.
