In what looks to be one of the biggest doo wop music events in recent memory, TJ Lubinsky has announced his “Doo Wop Generation” Live TV Concert and Multi-media event will take place at Asbury Park NJ’s historic Paramount Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, December 12 and 13, 2017.  This is a two day event being taped for TV featuring many of the original groups that appeared on TJ’s PBS TV shows plus the next generation of doo wop artists, selected from videos sent in to Lubinshy over the past few months.  The concerts will run from 6 to at least 11 PM each evening and tickets are being sold as a two-night package.  The line up so far is already huge (see below) and more surprises are expected.  There’ll also be a special screening of a tribute to Fred Parris of the Five Satins and Scarlets.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster at $50 and $60 for a two day pass.  Click the ticket button to be taken to the site to purchase tickets.  It’s listed as “PBS Doo Wop Concert”.  The Paramount is located at 1200 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ.
