The South Philly String Band Club is back for a new season. Their featured group for Wednesday night September 14 is the Belairs, led by Denny Gillen and also featuring Billy Carlucci (of Billy & the Essentials) and Phil DiAntonio. Located at 2820 Porter Street in South Philadelphia. Doors open at 6 PM. $15 will get you in the door for two sets by the group, a delicious buffet by Bobby Buerklin and his son Joe, dancing to the oldies by special guest dee jay Jimmy “Cannonball” Parsons.
