It was another great time at the Garwood NJ Public Library on
Wednesday evening, May 9, 2012, when we gave our Classic Urban Harmony
presentation, "Doo Wop Groups of New Jersey - Part 2". The presentation
was modified from previous times with the addition of a segment on Tyrone &
the NuPorts and a special acappella section. Singers in the audience
included Tommie Shider of the Sheps and Frank Cicerale from Re-MemberThen.
Since the May 9 presentation was given on the birthday of Bobby Thomas whose
funeral was the next day, we played a video of Bobby Thomas backed by the
Sheps doing "Doll Face".
