Benefit Acappella Concert for
Destinations’ Jerry Utter, featuring Street Corner Five, the
Emeralds, Nostalgia, Memory Lane and the Destinations
We recently received the sad news that our longtime friend,
Jerry Utter of the Destinations had passed away from cancer.
Jerry’s last wish was to sing again with the Destinations and
plans were made to organize a benefit concert so that could
happen. Unfortunately, Jerry died before the benefit
concert could take place, but the acappella benefit concert will
still go forward on September
12, 2010, from 2 – 6 PM at the North Penn VFW, 2519 Jenkintown
Road, in Glenside, PA (outside of Philadelphia). It will
benefit Jerry's family. Singing will
be Street Corner Five, the Emeralds, Nostalgia, Memory Lane and
of course the Destinations.
Tickets are $25 per person and will include a “beef & beer”.
We’re sure additional donations of money or door prizes would
be welcomed. We plan to be there. For details see
the flyer below. Tickets are available in advance by calling
267-251-3087 and at the door.
